Day ending dark clouds, cut short the sunset time.

They are mid-west mountains on the horizon line.

In the sun's morning struggle, in hale and rain;

It rose in pink, fighting gray clouds of restrain.

By gracious sun, the clouds lit gold. 

Stand still, stand strong and behold.

Across To The Heart

Early sun's twilight, breaks the cold and dark. 

Transcending its warmth, straight to the heart.
