An icy and empty force of fate.

Frozen lake scene in colorless layer;
lifeless remnants, dismal and grayer.
 

Surreptitious

The cold city where even the sun cries,
its jagged, stealthy edges tear the skies. 
 

Open Nowhere

Open sky and a lake pathway below;
yet a desolate pier and nowhere to go.
 

Silent Water

Lake skylit waters, peaceful view.
Frozen silence, fragments of blue.

Destructive Pain

A cold shackling of destructive pain.
Lakeside tattered, haggard and lame.

 

Barren Beach

Wintery lake waters, out of reach;
Snowbound barrier, desolute beach.
 

Wait, Wait, ....

Another week ends, another day falls.
the sunlight lingers,  the darkness calls.

Lakeside of art, where abstract sails disinter.

Endless Weeping

Bending willow, branches break;
in endless weeping by the lake.

Amongst lakes' crusted waters, falling skies;
no life saving refuge, in a harbor of disguise.
